Thorny vineyards

 Hey,

So it's been a while since I've been here, I keep planning to come back but I keep forgetting to write, or maybe putting it off and time just keeps passing by. And then, God decided to shake me up. I was reading Proverbs 24 a few days ago and verses 30 and 31 go "I passed by a lazy person’s field. I went by the vineyard of a man who had no sense. Thorns had grown up everywhere. The ground was covered with weeds. And the stone walls had fallen down." (ICB)

And in that moment I realised that I had actually become lazy towards this particular vineyard. Of course in my head I had perfectly reasonable excuses as to why I hadn't been here for so long but in that moment I realised that these excuses were just that -excuses. And it helped put things in perspective for me. When I began this year, one of the things I told God I'm trusting in Him to help me work out in my life is procrastination, and because I've not been procrastinating on other things in my life , it just didn't click that I was letting thorns grow on this vineyard and I'm goin to try my best to do better, here and in all other vineyards God has given me.

So, I ask you, what's the condition of your vineyard?

  1. Beautiful piece, AJS said ''procastination is the arrogant belief that the time given to you to do a thing can be postponed to tomorrow"

We don't have forever to attend to our vineyards. Do now whilest tis day
